Abstract:
Mine Surveying Engineering is a branch of science and mining technology that includes all the measurements, calculations, interpretations and mining planning in the realization of a successful mining project. The mine measurement service takes part in all the stages that pass a mining project, in the stage of mining project preparation, in the phase of performing mining works for preparing the extraction, in the faze of mineral extraction and at the closing stage of the mining activity. In the duties of the mining survey service, in addition to the measurements for the implementation of a mining project and the updating and documentation of all mining works carried out, the mining survey service participates in the valuation of ore reserves for a given ore deposit for industrial exploitation and the inventory of extracted mineral in quantity and quality. To successfully perform the last tasks I bring in this article some thoughts on the organization of the mine measurement service, the forms of control of the completed measurements, prepared plans and reporting rules on the mining activity carried out.
