Abstract:
The quality of educational system represents an extremely dinamical process which is based on progress and changes within economics and our society. An increase number of public and private universities, faculties and students claim systematic tracking and developing the system for internal quality of the educational system, so those institutions and their students can be recognizable within the European Union. That same appearance of larger competition on the field of high education contributed to a new perspective – more attention is brought to wishes and desires of students. Quality in educational system is more acknowledged with implementation of Bologna Convention. However, the reform of educational system based on Convention isn't giving enough positive results. There is an appearance of crisis, depression and unemployment of an educated population. In that case, here are some questions: „is constituted system of education responsible of this state“, „are the knowledge and skills of experts in a wide network of institutions suitable to economics nowadays. It can be concluded that education of 21st century awaits many challenges, such as securing the quality in a system of higher education. The rapid development of society is based on knowledge, the influence of internationalization and globalization, development of market conditions within system of high education, development of knowledge market. It requires finding new ways of advancement within development and progress of high education. Consequently, it is very important for institutions of high education to recognise the significance of providing the continuous quality of the educational system, and its improvement. It needs to achieve high standards of quality, so it can become implemented into academic society and beyond.
